This woman was a joy to photograph. She was so delighted I had a hard time catching her without her being doubled over in laughter. She did not know her age, again because when she was born her people did not record birth dates. she guess to be close to one hundred.

I instantly fell in love with photography. A few years later I was photographing advertising, corporate and editorial assignments in Dallas, TX. In 1995 American Airlines sent me to Germany to photograph a story on the popularity of the American Cowboy in Germany. This job was fun and crazy. I met people that really wanted to be cowboys, some to the extent of building western towns and on weekends pretending to be just that, cowboys. Later that year they sent me to France to photograph a story on wine. It was an exciting assignment going up...
